To confirm the information in my CV I went freelance in 2008 having been Head of the Fxstudio (Graphics) at The Moving Company London. I was with the company for over 8 years and had a fantastic and productive time working with world-renowned directors including Woody Allen and Tim Burton. I decided to take on a new challenge as my personal goals had been fulfilled.
I have really enjoyed being freelance and have been extremely fortunate to work on some very exciting projects. I designed George Michael’s and Billy Connolly's tour visuals and directed and animated a plethora of high profile projects for Blue chip clients including BP and Redbull. This was achieved as both a freelance vfx/motion graphics and my senior role as a Director and Art director at Orchard, a company I formed to complete larger projects with the help of a team of talented artists I have built up. I was also creative director for the vfx team at Zoo that won an Emmy for David Attenborough's first life in 2011.
The qualities and experience I have gained have been invaluable and I feel confident I will be a great addition to your team. I can take any project from conception to delivery and offer a level of service and expertise I am proud of. I also have a several fully speced workstations including all relevant software, and an in-house render farm. I also have a 100mb internet connection for remote working as well as a client delivery server.
My day rate starts at £350 dependant on the role.
